Introducing: Textile Data Best Practices 2025

RESOURCESMUNICIPALITIES

12/11/2025

Since January, separate textile collection has become mandatory across the EU. However, textiles is a more challenging stream to manage for municipalities with limited resources or without textile-specific knowledge.

TEXroad, together with Lääne-Harju, Saku and Humana Estonia, have developed Best Practices documents — practical, step-by-step guides to help municipalities take a data-driven approach to a range of textile management solutions together with their textile partners.

Last year’s Basic Textile Data covered a step-by-step approach: getting started questions, starting the data flow, basic analysis, and putting insights into action.

This year’s new edition builds on that foundation with updated Estonian case studies, insights from recent collection activities, plus challenges and lessons learned from real implementation.
